STI Server Software, which is licensed FairCom
server software, is required to run Client Server Versions of Tabs3
and PracticeMaster software. STI Server Software
is sold and supported by Software Technology, Inc.
Minimum System Requirements:
- STI Server Software must be installed on one networked computer in order to use client server versions of any Tabs3 or PracticeMaster product.
- A multi-core processor is recommended.
- The network must have the TCP/IP protocol installed.
- 2 GB RAM is recommended.
- Approximately 1 GB of free hard disk space is the minimum recommended disk space. Each HotBackup requires enough disk space for the entire data set.
- Windows Version Server: Microsoft Windows 2003/2000 Server, Windows 2000 or Windows XP Professional.
Workstation: Windows Vista/XP Professional/2000
Note: STI Server will not run under Windows Vista.
Note: When running Windows XP Pro, you are limited to 10 computer connections.
Any other Tabs3 or PracticeMaster software you use must be upgraded to a client server version on all other networked computers.
